2.2 Community Building: E1 uses location data (only with your explicit consent) to help you connect with neighbors in your vicinity, form groups, and build a sense of safety in your community.
2.3 Improvement of Services: We may use your information to analyze user behavior, enhance the app's functionality, and improve our services.
2.4 Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a legal request.
2.5 Integration with Alexa Skills:We use Alexa Skills to enhance the functionality of the E1 application. By linking your Alexa device to the E1 app, you authorize the app to send and receive notifications, trigger alerts, and execute commands through Alexa. Data shared with Alexa will include only the information necessary to enable this functionality, such as alert preferences and notifications. We do not store or process sensitive personal information beyond what is required for the app's integration with Alexa. All interactions with Alexa are processed through Amazon's systems, and as such, are subject to Amazon’s privacy policies. We recommend reviewing

2.6 Marketing and Newsletter Communications:By signing up for an E1 account, you consent toreceive both essential service communications and optional informational or marketing messages from E1.
• Essential communications include emergency alerts, system updates, and important notices necessary to operate the app.
• Marketing and newsletter communications may include preparedness tips, community stories, safety resources, promotional content, and announcements about new E1 features or products.
E1 may send these communications via email, in-app notifications, or text messages. You can unsubscribe or adjust your preferences at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email or by testing “Stop” to any SMS message.
E1 does not sell or share your personal information for third-party marketing purposes. All communications are processed and delivered using secure, compliant systems such as Substack or other trusted partners acting on E1’s behalf.
